Limited Lifetime Warranty

We assure you that our plantation shutters are crafted with the utmost care and are guaranteed to be free from defects in both materials and workmanship for the entire duration of ownership by the original retail purchaser.

Let There Be Shutters' commitment under this warranty is confined to the repair or replacement of any plantation shutter or components that are discovered to be defective. However, this warranty does not cover issues arising from accidents, alterations, damage, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, or exposure to the elements. It's important to note that natural imperfections inherent in individual wood types, which may not be entirely eliminated through sanding and painting, are not covered by this general lifetime warranty.

Additionally, Let There Be Shutters does not assume responsibility for routine homeowner maintenance.

Limited 10-Year Warranty on Vinyl

In the case of vinyl shutters, a limited 10-year warranty is applicable.

Rental Unit Warranty

For shutters installed in rental units, this warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of installation.

Feel free to adjust the wording as needed for your specific requirements.

*  DO NOT open shutters away from the window for 24 hours after they are installed as this gives the caulk and paint time to cure. Louvers can be adjusted up and down if desired.

* CLEAN with a damp cloth and wipe dry

* Feather duster recommended

* NEVER open shutters with the tilt bar

* Use tilt bar to open or close louvers only

* Open shutters completely when opening or closing your window

* DO NOT open or close window by reaching through the louvers

*  There is tension screw located on both sides of the panels that open. It can be adjusted with a Phillips screwdriver when the louvers will not stay in the desired position or if they are too tight.
